Firefighter Axe Sheath - Durable Nylon Fireman's Axe Cover for Emergency & Rescue Gear - Perfect for Firefighting, Camping & Outdoor Survival

Marbles Fireman's axe is a cross between a machete & hatchet. It arrived sharp with a near continuous cutting edge that begins at the handle and wraps around the "axe" head. I ordered the sheath separably (also on Amazon) which fit perfectly; I don't understand why the 2 would be sold separately - especially because I believe the sheath is a necessity. This tool is perfect for clearing brush & chopping kindling but not as an axe.The wooden handle, although sturdy, isn't designed well - it's a bit "chunky" and just doesn't seem as finished.I also own an Ontario SP 16 which is a much more substantial military grade version of this tool.Little tight, but thats better than being to big. i think its essential if you own the axe. considering the all around edge on the axe, i would deff buy this again.It is what it is and no reason not to give 5. I did have to bend in order to allow quick unsheathing.Which is normal for many sheaths to have to do that.I got the holster separate, but both are better than I expected!!! It is a little on the light side, for my personal preference, but that is just me. Will be in my truck forever!!!Well made, and a good fit. Sharpening stone is a nice touch. If your going to get the tool this sheath is a must, the sharp blade edge runs all around the head and needs to be guarded so other equipment is not damaged.A very nice sheath.Does not fit well. Axe will pop out and can cut. You can but at other stores online for around $18 both the axe amd the sheath. If I worked I would have just cut my loses for the convenience of prime, but not worth it. The axe wasn't that well made either...Excellent quality material and stitching, very happy. Will purchase again.
