I have had my eye out for a good Chinese checkers set for two years now, but there was always something in the reviews that made me baulk--that the marbles rolled too much or were a bad size--that there was no marble storage, etc. (And I wanted marbles.) This is great! I won't say it's absolutely perfect--we can see the glue on parts of the wood, so if you care about that, then you care about that, and my four-year-old *will* occasionally make the marbles roll, but the rest of us (including his slightly older sister) have no trouble with rolling marbles, and even the four-year-old is happily playing the game right now--and didn't ever get frustrated with the rolling. There is a nice drawer under the game that holds all the marbles--it is fully removable, so you can get the marbles out easily when you want to play. They also give you two extra marbles of each color (which is good--one of the green marbles was cracked--though still usable). I *did* wash the marbles before our second game, as they had a bit of a dusty feel, but I really think most purchasers would be very happy with this set!The game met all my expectations. Well constructed and received promptly. My only disappointment was there were no instructions included on how to play the game. Everything else was excellent.Great game!
