This Marbles Camping Knife is based on the Government Issue Utility Knife issued to many military personnel since WWII and was only withdrawn about 1990. The knife is made entirely out of 440 stainless steel with all parts firmly riveted together. It has a 2.5 inch main blade, Awl, Cap Lifter / Screw Driver and Can Opener along with a large lanyard bail. The knife is built for hard use, but because of its solid construction it is a little heavy. The blade takes a good edge and the tools work well having stood the test of time. The Camp Combo Set comes with a Fork /Spoon with a built in can opener, along with a small clip. This Camp Combo is excellent value for money being only about a dollar more than the knife on its own. I keep mine in the car for emergency use. I have no problem recommending this knife, it works well and is very affordable, an ideal gift.
